Get Back Up
Something changed the ground beneath you—and the effects may run through work, family, identity, community, faith, health, or the way you understand yourself. The task is not to perform resilience or rush back to normal.
This is one way complexity can show up. It does not lock you into a package or reduce the whole situation to a category or method.
Look for your situation
Is this the kind of problem you’re in?
- A failure, loss, rupture, or major transition has changed what comes next.
- Burnout or sustained pressure has made your old way of operating unavailable.
- You know you need to move forward, but not what forward should look like now.
- You are rebuilding confidence, rhythm, trust, or a workable sense of direction.
What the work has to accomplish
What has to change
Take honest stock of what happened, which parts of life it changed, and how those changes interact. Recover enough footing to distinguish what was lost, what remains, and what no longer fits. Then choose a deliberate next step instead of pretending nothing happened.
